The Orion Nebula

A bright planetary nebula, flaring out with purples and blues against a backdrop of rust-colored dust. A second nebula, blue, with the vague outline of a man, is to its left.

The Great Nebula in Orion. What is there to say? It’s beautiful, it’s bright, it’s big, it’s got great complexity. It’s a perfect subject to capture. I’m so pleased I’ve been able to bring out some of the dust clouds around the brighter nebula.
